How the tests are graded
Section 1
50 questions in 50 minutes
The questions are randomly drawn from the question bank with 10 questions taken from the most difficult category, 20 questions from the moderate category and 20 questions from the least difficult category.
Grading for Section 1 – a score of:
80% and over is classified - Platinum
70% and over is classified - Gold
60% and over is classified - Silver
50% and over is classified - Bronze
40% and over is classified - Pass
Below 40% is classified - Not Yet
Section 2
20 questions in 20 minutes
The 20 questions in this section are based on the score from section 1.
i. With a score of Platinum or Gold you will receive 20 questions taken from the most difficult category.
Grading for section 2 with a Platinum or Gold – a score of:
80-100% is classified - Level 5
60-79% is classified - Level 4
40-59% is classified - Level 3
20-39% is classified - Level 2
0-19% is classified - Level 1
ii. With a score of Silver or Bronze you will receive 20 questions taken from the moderate category.
Grading for section 2 with a Silver or Bronze – a score of:
80-100% is classified - Level 5
60-79% is classified - Level 4
40-59% is classified - Level 3
20-39% is classified - Level 2
0-19% is classified - Level 1
iii. With a score of Pass or Not Yet you will receive 20 questions taken from the least difficult category
Grading for section 2 with a Pass– a score of:
50% or higher is classified - Pass +
Less than 50% remains classified - Pass
Grading for section 2 with a Not Yet – a score of:
50% or higher is classified - Pass
Less than 50% remains classified - Not Yet
